Have your meeting recordings land in a Box on their own, with the BrainBox API

How to connect your video-call platform to BrainBox so every recording lands in the project's Box on its own, transcribed and citable to the second.

Lesson 3 of 5 · 1:51

What it covers

When a meeting ends, your video-call platform sends a webhook. Your integration hands the recording to BrainBox, which transcribes and indexes it in the project's Box. Minutes later, anyone can ask what was decided, and the answer takes them to the exact second.

Frequently asked questions

›Can I upload large videos through the API?

Yes. In URL mode, BrainBox downloads the file from an HTTPS address, up to 2 GB.

›Does BrainBox transcribe the recording?

Yes. Once uploaded it's transcribed and indexed, and answers cite the exact minute and second.

›Does it work with any meeting platform?

With any that notifies you when a recording is ready and gives an HTTPS download link. Your integration receives the notice and calls the API.

Transcript

0:00Who uploads the recording?

The tender committee just ended, and Laura asks: did anyone upload the recording? Nobody has to. With the API, it arrives on its own.

0:11The flow

Here's how it works. The meeting ends, and the video-call platform says the recording is ready. Your integration receives that notice, a webhook. And it hands the recording to BrainBox, which transcribes it and indexes it.

0:26The code

In code, it's a webhook with a single call. You receive the notice with the recording's address, and pass it to BrainBox, with the folder it goes into. In seconds it's transcribed and indexed, in the committees folder of the tender's Box.

0:43In Celtara Hub

In Celtara Hub we simulate the notice: recording ready. This is the webhook, with the video's address. The Hub calls the API and sends the recording to the tender's Box. Transcribed and indexed, without anyone touching it.

1:00Ask the meeting

In BrainBox, there it is, in Committees. Laura asks: which tasks were assigned, and who owns each one? Camila gets the ENEC certificate by the twenty-eighth, Andrés closes the bid bond on Monday, and Julián prepares the installation schedule. Each task cites the exact minute. One click, and the recording starts right there, with the transcript.

1:26Recap

To recap: the meeting platform notifies with a webhook, your integration hands the recording to BrainBox through the API, and BrainBox transcribes it and cites it to the second. Laura no longer asks who uploaded the committee. When a meeting ends, it's ready to be asked.
